Frustration in our New Zealand building systems led me to find Passive House building technology. My analysis after evaluating the outcome of this new system is why I am now dedicated to only building Passive House. 

This technology is more than just a building, inadvertently by finding out how to keep a building at a consistent all year round interior temperature of 22 degrees, we are able to control energy usage and also create an interior environment with filtered fresh air. This ticks all the boxes for low running cost and especially a healthy living space.

Passive house building is very strict in the way the building is constructed, progress checks and a final internal air pressure test must be passed before certification is awarded. This building system is a bit like having a monkey sitting on your back making sure you do everything right, no allowance for error.

I think of a house as a piece of art, especially after all the work that is involved in producing one.

Textures and styles of building products can be used in different ways to give a unique look and feeling. Buildings are style driven and healthy is the new, comfort comes automatically with this system.
